Construction Activity at Bandar Abbas, IRAN

Satellite Imagery from February 24th, 2021 shows ongoing excavation works at Bandar Abbas Naval Base where the IRGCN Shahid Roudaki (Forward Operation Ship) docks.

A dredging barge and excavation spoils can be spotted in the water. At the construction area, dump trucks, excavators, and a crane are seen.

Assessment: The construction activity is probably aimed at improving, upgrading the docking area.
